Maybe it’s because I just became a parent, but when I saw this toddler’s mom walking down into their parking garage with a baby strapped to her chest, I had to wonder what she was thinking, or if she was thinking, or if I should turn around and make sure he wouldn’t get hit by the many cars speeding by.

Standing in line at a post office on a chilly day in LA, I watched as this little girl with the brown hair walked around on the drops of rain on the cold, concrete floor of the post office.
I was so blown away that her poor little feet weren’t frozen. I was also pretty shocked that the people with her were fine with it.
Then I got closer in line and saw a great opportunity for a photo of such opposites.
Child in warm sweatpants, sweatshirt and warm sheepskin boots vs child in leggings & no shoes.
Vote “Think This is Not-Okay” if you think it’s not-okay not to dress a child appropriately on a cold, rainy day.

British socialite Peaches Geldof’s was photographed pushing her son in his stroller while talking on her cell phone. From the photos, it is obvious her multitasking priorities need a little work.
The 23-year-old new mother was taking little baby Astala Dylan Willow Geldof-Cohen for a walk when his pram hit an uneven stretch of pavement.
Geldof, who appears to be mid conversation, never drops the phone, even as her 5-month-old tumbles on to the sidewalk.

Okay or not-okay for this child to be sitting in the back of this truck?
Vote “Think This is Not-Okay” if you think it’s not the best idea to put a child under ten in the back of a pickup truck with no roof to protect him from the sun and wind and everything else on a crowded, busy street in Southern California.

Not sure if we should categorize this as “poor parenting skills” or “admirable climbing skills.”
Perhaps this photo could be expressed as a little bit of both? If this wasn’t a statue he was climbing on, and was instead a playground, meant for him to climb on, with safer ground for him to fall on, we’d be more inclined to think this would be an admirable climbing situation.
Vote “Think This Is Not-Okay” if you feel this scene is better described as “poor parenting”

We noticed this little girl when we heard her and her mother having a heated argument, in a language that was not English. We then noticed that the mother gave her a pacifier. WTF?! Is this customary in some parts of the world?! Regardless, if a child can speak full sentences, we think it is not-okay for her to continue to use a pacifier.

While we understand that the subway doesn’t afford much in the way of comfort or lots of room, we don’t understand why this dude couldn’t simply take one strap off of this child carrier and swing the child around, to hold the child on his front instead of using the child as a cushion. Parenting fail.

This is not what is implied by the term, “Public Restroom.” Teaching a child to expose himself in public, no matter the reason, is not-okay. We have a fair amount of experience with children so we understand that they can have immediate bathroom needs. Find a gas station. Carry an emergency diaper in your purse, er, fanny pack. Run inside one of the 6,000 coffee shops in any given city. Anything but this! A bush or even a wall would be an ever-so-slight improvement over having a child expose himself to every person who happens to be passing by. When you have developed an understanding of that concept we can talk about the value of keeping a child further away from traffic in a busy intersection.

Is this in the United States? I know this kind of thing is common in China (this is an informed statement, not a racist one; they seriously do this kind of thing over there), but the FX ad thing makes it look like it’s the USA. D:

Hang the damn cell phone up! OMG. Clearly cell phone use has trumped absolutely every other activity people do in the course of a day, including the care of an infant child. Let’s see – choice here is cell phone or baby? Baby lost.
