Maybe it’s because I just became a parent, but when I saw this toddler’s mom walking down into their parking garage with a baby strapped to her chest, I had to wonder what she was thinking, or if she was thinking, or if I should turn around and make sure he wouldn’t get hit by the many cars speeding by.

I pulled up to our home in a taxi cab, to find that this dude right here, was poking his dog’s poop with a poker and flinging it into the shrubbery to the right.  That shrubbery lines the parking garage of our complex.  I asked the guy if he just threw poop into the bushes.

He said, “kind of.”

I said, “it’s a yes or no response.”

He said, “well, it wasn’t really poop.”

I said, “what do you mean?  It either was or it wasn’t.”

He started getting defensive and said, “well, it was only a thimble sized amount.” I said, “poop is poop dude and it stinks.”

He tried to justify his actions by saying he just moved in next door and people do that all the time at his place.

I just looked at him, realizing there was no need to engage in further conversation.
