Being that it is Martin Luther King, Jr day, I wanted to make sure the Honey Baked Ham store was open before I drove over.
I google’d the location, found the # and called. It rang and rang and rang, so I assumed it was not open today.
I know from experience that they usually close around 3pm on a daily basis. Then I looked more closely and saw the hours of operation on the Google page.
The address and phone # on the listing were correct. How and who would put that the hours of operation were 24 hours a day, everyday?
Vote “Think This is Not-Okay” if you think it’s not-okay for the listing to say “open 24 hours” when it’s not

I was so excited to try this soup…until I opened the can.
Vote “Think This is Not-Okay” if you think it’s not-okay for soup to look like this before it’s expiration date & if that is how it is supposed to look, it’s not-okay that the label doesn’t indicate that.

Shame on companies such as Nintendo, Canon, Nikon, Sharp and HTC who all received low rankings from the Enough Project. Nintendo, is tragic in their rating. They are the only company out of 24 ranked by the Enough Project that received a score of zero, for taking no steps to ensure that its electronics do not support armed groups in central Africa.
Fortunately other huge companies such as Intel, HP, Dell, Microsoft and Apple have made efforts to trace the source of metals used in their devices. An auditing system for smelters, the industrial facilities that process raw metals, also has been put in place. A certification system is in the works that would allow companies to certify some metals from Congo as “conflict free.”

Help stop mental health professionals from subjecting minors to a dangerous and emotionally-scarring practice of trying to change their sexual orientation.
Previously approved in the California Senate, Senate Bill 1172 would ban mental health professionals from subjecting minors to a dangerous and emotionally-scarring practice of trying to change their sexual orientation.

I took this dress into the dry cleaners I’ve been using for awhile now.
When I dropped it off, I pointed out the stain, the person at the intake counter marked it and that was that.
When I went to pick it up, I immediately checked to see if the stain was removed and it wasn’t.
The stain is lighter than it was when I took it in, but it’s still visible!
So, it was ready, but it wasn’t right and it almost wasn’t free.
I had to make a case as to why I shouldn’t have to pay for my now ruined dress!
They’ve been giving me increasingly bad service for the past few visits.
This incident is definately the final straw.

The Huffington Post reported today that the Environmental Working Group, an advocacy nonprofit, released its latest “Dirty Dozen” list of the 12 fruits and vegetables that are most contaminated with pesticides, as an update to its 2010 rankings. And taking first place this year? Apples. The ubiquitous fruit beat out last year’s top spot, which went to celery (now at number two).
“We have very good data showing that if people eat organic that measurable pesticide levels in their tissues drop, and this has been shown with kids as well,” HuffPost blogger Dr. Andrew Weil told EWG last year when they released the 2010 Shopper’s List. “I’ve always said that it would be wise to learn which crops are more likely to carry pesticide residues and in those instance to try to get organic versions or to reduce consumption or avoid the conventional varieties.”

Not-okay that I was on hold for 35 minutes, only to be on the phone for another 20 minutes trying to redeem my voucher for a free flight. The system is in transition and therefore my reservation couldn’t be booked. Why couldn’t they have said that at the beginning of the call, or during the specials they advertise while callers are on hold?!?!?!

We heard back from the people @Thai_kitchen via Twitter who said, “Natural separation is common in products that contain coconut milk, give it a good shake! Call 800-967-8424 w/ questions!” How great that they got back to us about this! Thx Thai Kitchen!
